Remember to warm up and cool down after every exercise session - we don't want anyone to hurt themselves prior to getting on the field for training and games. Along with a proper warm-up and cool-down, it is important that you practice your skills and maintain or improve your fitness. Remember, soccer is a fast paced game for two halves with only a short break in between. The length of the halves is determined by your team age. For Example, 6U is 4 each 6 minute quarters, 8U is 4 each 12 minute quarters, 10U is 25 minute halves, 11U-12U are 30, 13U-14U are 35 minute halves, 15U-16U are 40 minutes, and 17U-19U are 45 minutes.
